The Bigouden people distinguish themselves from their neighbors by their traditions: costume, dances, songs, music, language, economy, beliefs, customs, daily uses, architecture, gastronomy etc. Forming the southwestern tip of Brittany, the Bigouden country is bathed by the Celtic Sea to the west and by the Bay of Biscay to the south. It is limited to the south-east by the mouth of the Odet river and the Combrit cove.
